Ebola Support Programme (ESP I)

Description

The projects continued German DC’s support for the peace and recovery progress in the traditionally neglected region of south-east Liberia, applying a multi-sectoral approach with close proximity to the target groups. The measures included the expansion of rural transport routes, agricultural and nutritional consultancy, well construction, improvement to hygiene practices, strengthening of primary and vocational education, and psycho-social support for women and girls (RPP IV, SIRHC). ESP I focused on the construction of health centres and preventive measures to improve hygiene.
